New Years at the Open-Air Architectural MuseumFree admission
Our reconstructed buildings will be festooned with traditional shimenawa ropes and kadomatsu decorations. There will also be New Year’s festivities such as the “Sekino Town Mochitsuki” (rice cake pounding) and “Koganei-bayashi” (traditional musical performance for festivals), both of which are Koganei City-designated Intangible Folk Cultural Property, as well as performances of Shishimai (lion dance) and Daikagura (juggling).
