  • Photo spot to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the construction of Kawano Shoten Wholesale Store

    We will lend out Japanese oil-paper umbrellas and small objects for taking pictures with in the open space next to Kawano Shoten Wholesale Store. This is a great way to take commemorative photos as the store celebrates its 100th anniversary!

  • Search for Showa! Quiz Rally

    Try your hand at six quizzes based on the special exhibition “100 Years of Showa and the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum.” Search for the answers around the museum!

Introducing the Heaven Artist Performers

  • Tottentan

    The music troupe Tottentan, bringing you Happy Sounds full of joy.
    This music troupe includes a clarinet, an accordion, a tuba, tap dancing, and a washboard.
    Everyone will be drawn into the performance as they listen, watch, and find themselves dancing along!
    The troupe performs at a variety of events in different regions, such as festivals, concerts, amusement parks, commercial facilities, and even nurseries, kindergartens, and welfare facilities.

  • Kamishibai Performer Anji

    Anji mainly focused on stage performances after graduating.
    She not only performed, but was also actively involved in a wide range of jobs such as writer, director, and assistant director.
    She stopped performing after getting married and having a child to focus on childcare.
    As she did so, she began to think, “how can I use my skills to entertain children?” and settled on picture-story shows.
    She then attended the Kamishibai Juku (picture-story school) run by the picture-story performance group Shibuya Gagekidan, graduating to become a picture-story performer.
