[Important Notice] Regarding Ticket Sales for the “Special Evening Opening: Downtown Summer Evening” on August 1 and August 2

The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum will hold the “Special Evening Opening: Downtown Summer Evening” on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026.
This year, as part of safety measures in case of sudden thunderstorms, we will be changing the event hours for “Downtown Summer Evening.” Additionally, admission tickets will be available exclusively through ≪advance online sales (date-specific)≫ and will be subject to ≪capacity limits≫, with a maximum number of tickets sold per day. (*Click here for details on changes to the “Downtown Summer Evening” event)
As the sales method differs significantly from previous years, please read the notes below carefully and purchase tickets only after you have fully understood them.

*Tickets for “Downtown Summer Evening” will be available for purchase starting at the time indicated above.

*You can also purchase tickets by searching for “Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum” directly on the “Asoview!” site without going through this site.

≪Ticket Types≫
● General Admission: 400 yen
● Senior (65 years and older): 200 yen
● College Students (including vocational and other types): 320 yen
● High School Students: 200 yen
● Junior High School Students and Younger (0 years old and up; tickets must be purchased for each child): 0 yen

Example) For a group consisting of grandparents (65 years and older), parents, one elementary school student, and one preschooler
Please purchase a total of 6 tickets (1,200 yen): 2 Senior tickets (200 yen each), 2 General tickets (400 yen each), and 2 Junior High School Students and Under tickets (0 yen each).

≪Important Information (Please Be Sure to Check)≫
・This ticket is a time-specific ticket limited to the “Special Evening Opening: Downtown Summer Evening” event.
・Once the allotted number of tickets has been sold, no further purchases will be accepted.
・Even for children aged 0 to junior high school age who are eligible for free admission, you must purchase the corresponding number of 0-yen tickets.
・You may purchase up to 4 “Junior High School Students and Under (0 yen)” tickets per account.
・Each ticket is valid for one person for a single entry only.
・Tickets cannot be reissued.
・Tickets will not be sold at the ticket counter, whether in advance or on the day of the event.

≪Ticket Validity Period≫
Saturday, August 1, 2026, and Sunday, August 2, 2026: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM on each designated date (Last entry at 9:00 PM)

≪Cancellation Policy≫
・Cancellations are not permitted after ticket purchase.
・If the event is canceled by the organizer due to severe weather or other circumstances by 7:00 PM on the designated date, a full refund will be issued.

≪Terms of Use≫
・This ticket can only be used on a smartphone. If purchased on a PC, please present this ticket on your smartphone on the day of the event.
・Guests aged 65 and older must present proof of age (such as a health insurance card or driver’s license).
・Junior high, high school, and college students (including vocational and other types of schools) must present their student ID.

≪Special Notes≫
・Visitors holding a Physical Disability Certificate, Love Support Certificate, Rehabilitation Support Certificate, Mental Health and Welfare Certificate, or Atomic Bomb Survivor Health Certificate, as well as their accompanying persons (up to 2 people), please proceed to the reception desk.
・Visitors holding an Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum Friends Association membership card, a student ID from a Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture partnership school, or similar identification should proceed to the reception desk.

≪Exclusions from the “Downtown Summer Evening” Event≫
・Group rates (20 or more people) and various discount programs (JAF, JR Adult Holiday Club, other museum Friends’ Association memberships, etc.) are not applicable.
・The Tokyo Museum Gurutto Pass is not valid.

≪Other Information≫
・Visitors coming during regular opening hours (9:30 AM–5:30 PM) on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 must purchase admission tickets at the reception desk (tickets are not available for online purchase).

≪Admission Information≫
・Admission with this ticket is permitted from 6:00 PM on the designated date. Please note that a separate admission ticket is required if you plan to visit during regular opening hours (9:30 AM–5:30 PM). *Please note that you cannot remain in the museum continuously from regular opening hours through the “Downtown Summer Evening” event.
・Crowds are expected at certain times. Please be aware that you may have to wait before entering the museum.
