Notice of suspension of the museum-organized activities to prevent transmission of the COVID-19 coronavirus


As part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum will suspend all the museum-organized activities and visitors’ viewing in the museum from February 29 (Sat.) until March 16 (Mon.), 2020.

 

Suspended museum-organized activities(February 29—March 16)

Viewing in the museum (The reconstructed buildings, the outdoor exhibits, etc.)

 

Suspended museum-organized activities(March 3—16)

Special exhibition “THE SENTO: The history and the culture of the bathhouses in Tokyo”

 

Facilities that are unavailable

Visitor Center (including the museum shop,the library, and the introductory exhibition), restaurants and café in the museum, rest-space, etc.

 

Other museum activities may be subject to change at a later date in response to future circumstances. Any further announcements will be made via our website and official Twitter account.
